The Bolivarian Revolution in the Latin American context

There is no doubt that, during the first decade of the 21st century, Latin America has been at the forefront of global anti-capitalist resistance. The struggles of millions of workers, peasants and indigenous people of Latin America have shown the oppressed of the world the existence of a left alternative to neoliberalism. It is the duty of Marxists to learn from these processes of living class struggle that contain valuable lessons for the emancipation of the working class internationally but also be aware of and criticize the limits that the revolutionary processes in Latin America have shown.
